Mr Joe Biden, the President of the United States of America, arrived Cambodia on Saturday ( November 12,2022) morning to attend the 40th and 41st ASEAN SUMMITS @ Other Related SUMMITS organised and Chaired by Cambodian Leaders.

Cambodia and India Expand Trade and Economic Ties

Colgate provides free tooth and mouth checkups

BY BUTH REAKSMEY KONGKEA The Colgate Palmolive Company, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the Cambodian Dental Association (CDA) will provide free dental checkups according to Cheam Heng, General Manager of CP & A Training International Co., LTD, the key Colgate importer in Cambodia. Heng said that the dental checkups were organized and financially supported by Colgate Palmolive, the Cambodia Ministry of Health and the CDA. The General Manager said the checkups will be conducted from the 1st to 28th February 2009 in Phnom Penh and other cities and provinces across the country. He said that according to the company’s plan, over one million Cambodian people will be getting free checkups. “It is the first time that Colgate has provided free checkups for the people in Cambodia,” he said. “The purpose of the checkup is to teach our people on how to take-care of their teeth and to promote overall health.” he told the Cambodia Weekly on January 23. TV5 Selects Freshie Girls and Boys 2009

BY BUTH REAKSMEY KONGKEA Ten Cambodian teenagers, five girls and five boys, were selected as “Cambodian Freshie Girls and Boys” for 2009. The “Freshie Girls and Boys” competition took place on March 30 at the TV5’s station in Phnom Penh and was organized by the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces’ Television Channel 5 (TV5). Bun Kert, Director of the “Freshie Girls and Boys Organizational Committee” of the TV5, said more than 1,000 Cambodian youth applied for the competition, but through many different phases of the competition, only 20 girls and boys who reached the final round on March 30.
