Wildlife experts find 49 species of reptiles in Kampong Thom province

The Cambodian Entomology Initiatives in Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in collaboration with the REDD + Plus project recently conducted a study on the presence of reptiles in the entire project area in Kampong Thom province. 

As a result of study and researches, the researchers found 49 herpetofauna species in the project area, said the Cambodian Entomology Initiatives, this is according to the report of The Cambodian Entomology Initiatives issued on Thursday. 

The report added that that in the past, the Cambodian Entomology Initiatives have studied the presence of insects in the entire project area, collecting a total of 1582 samples, equal to 283 species.
