More than 100 vendors representing 720 families at the Prek Pnov Market in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district protested in front of the Phnom Penh Municipal court yesterday against the proposed destruction of a demarcation wall at the market. The vendors also demanded the closure of the nearby privately owned Heng Peng Try market, because its vendors sell products on National Road 5, causing traffic jams and accidents near the market.
