King Sihamoni Returned Home with His Father and Mother

His Majesty King Preah Karuna Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, and his father Samdech Norodom Sihanouk, and Norodom Monineath Sihanouk, have returned home from Beijing on March 31st after a long-stay in Beijing, China.

The arrivals of His Majesty the King Norodom Sihamoni, Samdech Ov and Samdech Me were warmly greeted by Samdech Chea Sim, President of the Senate, Samdech Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, along with other government high-ranking officials and a number of Senate and parliaments members at the Phnom Penh International Airport.

Oum Daravuth, Chief of the King’s Cabinet, said that the return of His Majesty the King, King’s father and the queen mother are positive, prosperity and political stability for all people in Cambodia.

“Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, Samdech Ov and Samdech Me are the cool shade of all people in Cambodia. Thus, their returns are the positive sign for the peace, prosperity and political stability in Cambodia,” he told reporters at the Phnom Penh International Airport.

He added that Samdech Ov and Samdech Me will be staying for long months and scheduled to visit beloved people as well as to enjoy the celebration of Khmer New Year,

Keo Savuth, a teacher in Phnom Penh who came to greet the arrival at the international Airport, was happy with the present of Majesty the King Norodom Sihamoni, King Father and Queen Mother. He added that His Majesty the King Norodom Sihamoni, is the symbol of the national independence, peace, prosperity and stability for Cambodians.

“I am happy to see His Majesty the King Norodom Sihamoni, King Father and Queen Mother are healthy and returned to stay in Cambodia. I wish all the best of luck and longevity so that they will present to stay as a cool shade for their people in the country,” he told The Southeast Asia Weekly. ///
